HOME MADE SUITS! I also want to note that there was another couple who's mom works for
the US department of defense sewing parachutes. She used her military
sewing skills to make 2 suits that look exactly like the drop suit - which
they kindly donated to the ride. So the LA ride actually had 54 suited
riders in total! (If any of you have a picture of Jonathan H. & companion
in their suits - please send them to me!!!) |

THE PARK This is where the real magic happened. The lights in the suits were mostly drowned out by street lights a good portion of the ride. The excitement of riding in the streets led everyone to forget about the lights. Until we got to the park. Without many people around watching - it was like a secret for all the riders. As we wound down the curvy path you could hear their simultaneous surprise in "ohhh!"s and "ahhh!"s . Look close and you can see tiny suits. photo by: Jessica Findley |

David Benoff from Bike Summer LA was the reason this ride made it to LA - and organized the after party, the Bike Summer LA crew Liz, Ryan, Lars Lehtonen, Jen Diamond, Jason Saunders, and Trystan Cobbett for their help organizing, the A-house for the party space, and Miss Margot Jacobs for her help organizing the peeps.
