THERE ARE OTHERS Claudia Medeiros Cardoso, artist and freind holds one of her signs for an art project about inhabiting foriegn spaces. I met her seven years ago in Cuba when I was inflating Front with Margot & Ralph. Many thanks to her for thinking of bringing the ride to to Bremen and introducing me to her friends.

BRAT WURST
Sausages are everywhere in Germany. I think its kind of funny that in Italy you stand to drink your coffee quickly and leave. In Germany you do the same for sausages.

  OUR LEADER MANNY
He rode in the basket of the last safetyrider during our test ride and cried the whole way becuase he wanted to be in the lead.

BONFIRE BEFORE
The ride started at an old cargo train station, behind the station a punk trailer park had a show and a bonfire. It was funny becuase it really reminded me of the Madagascar Group & the pacific northwest. The world is small and some ways of being never die.

  GALLERY LOOP IN THE GUTERBAHNHOF!
The ride started at the gallery space which was this giant old cargo train station called the Guterbahnhof. We got to ride inside the gallery and its funny because it was the first time in 16 rides that the Aeolian Ride has been in a gallery space live..

BREMEN HAUPTBAHNHOF
I heard a story that this is one of the few train stations that survived the war because the people covered it with a tarp and then strategically placed broken glass and mirrors to mimic the nearby river which succeeded in hiding the station from aerial bombers.

MINI MINI VAN!
Tinyride with tall guys. Andrea is currently buidling a portable sauna that is to be pulled by a tractor. He told me of his project that he made a interactive sculpture of a giant rotatable stone that you shoot at with a a machine gun like device to chip away bits of stone. Andrea is a great tour guide and artist as well.

BERLIN TILES

A CHANGING CITY
Everyone says its getting more posh in Berlin and the artist are moving out. Ole's party was in a shack he built in one of the last artist spots inside the city. His lady Veronica DJ'd up a old fashioned dance party on her record player.
